Bruno Cenghialta was born in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza) on December 1962. He is a former pro cyclist who has been pro from 1986 until 1998. He has participated in eight consecutives edition of the Tour de France, where he won a stage in Castres in 1991. In 1994 he won the Coppa Bernocchi and was second at the Amstel Gold Race. Once retired from professional cycling, in 1999 he started his career as sport director. He covered this position at Amica Chips, Alessio, Fassa Bortolo, Acqua & Sapone and Saxo Bank – Tinkoff. From 2017 season Bruno takes a position of the sports director of Astana Pro Team.
