Race 15/06/2019 Baloise Belgium Tour. Stage 4. Breakaway makes it to the finish line in Seraing The hardest stage of 2019 edition of Tour of Belgium finished today at the streets of Seraing with a victory of Belgium rider Victor Campenaerts.
Race 14/06/2019 Critérium du Dauphiné. Stage 6. Jakob Fuglsang remains fourth overall after first mountain stage Behind stage winner Julian Alaphilippe, who won out of the early three-man breakaway, all the GC contenders finished in one group on Stage 6 of Critérium du Dauphiné. Of the Astana riders, Gorka Izagirre finished fifth, Jakob Fuglsang sixth and Alexey Lutsenko tenth. Fuglsang remains fourth overall (+0’07” on leader Adam Yates) and Alexey Lutsenko moved into eight (+0’30”).
Race 14/06/2019 Baloise Belgium Tour. Stage 3. Short ITT before the decisive stage tomorrow The third stage of Tour of Belgium held today at the roads of Grimbergen. It was 9,2 km-long individual time trial with almost flat route, won by Belgium rider Tim Wellens. Fastest Astana Pro Team rider was current Kazakhstan and Asian ITT champion Daniil Fominykh, crossing the finish line in 11:20”, 34 seconds behind the stage winner.
Race 13/06/2019 Baloise Belgium Tour. Stage 2. Active race for our Kazakh rider Zhandos Bizhigitov The hard second stage of Tour of Belgium with 6 climbs and 7 pave sectors finished today in Zottegem after 180 km of racing. It was an active day for our Kazakh rider Zhandos Bizhigitov, who was always in the front, participated in the late decisive breakaway and backed to the peloton only 10 km to go, after attack of solo stage winner Remco Evenepoel.
Race 13/06/2019 Critérium du Dauphiné. Stage 5. Astana riders ready for mountains after final sprint stage All the Astana Pro Team riders, including leader Jakob Fuglsang, finished safely on the final sprint stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné. Wout van Aert took a second consecutive stage win with his sprint in the streets of Voiron. Tomorrow the first mountain stage awaits, as the riders will go from Saint-Vulbas to Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne over 229 kilometers, making it the longest stage of this year’s Dauphiné. Adam Yates remains the overall leader after today, Jakob Fuglsang is still fourth on seven seconds.
