The 2017 edition of the Vuelta al Pais Vasco has ended today with the final individual time trial of 27.7 km in Eibar.
The final ITT has been won by the Slovenian Primoz Roglic, winner of the stage 4 too.
He has beaten by 9 secs the GC Leader, the Spaniard Alejandro Valverde who has won the GC, beating the other Spaniards, Alberto Contador and Ion Izagirre.
As a confirm of the good condition, looking at the Classic of the Wallonia that will start next week, the Danish of the Astana Pro Team, Michael Valgren, was 16th at 1’34” from the winner and first classified of our team.
The Russian Sergei Chernetckii, 21st at 3’21” from the GC winner, was the first classified in the final GC for the Astana Pro Team.
