- I felt good today and my legs worked quite well. Luis Leon Sanchez brought me in front with around 2 km to go and later I just tried to find a wheel to move further in front, but it was not easy with two dangerous roundabouts inside the final kilometers. Well, I did my best, but my position in the final was not a perfect one. However, I am happy with my feelings today and the way my legs worked. I hope to do something more in my next races, while tomorrow I am ready to provide my best to Miguel Angel Lopez, - said Davide Martinelli.
There was not any important change in the general classification as Remco Evenepoel still leads the race, while Miguel Angel Lopez is 6th, 5 seconds behind. Astana Pro Team still leads in the team’s classification
Stage 4 with start in Albufeira and an uphill finish in Malhão (169.7 km) will be held tomorrow.
