- The main goal for today was just to save some energy and to avoid any problem during the stage. The final part of the stage was quite technical, so we tried to stay safety inside the group and not to catch any crash. So, everything went well, and we finished this day out of troubles. Now we are looking forward to the next stage on Saturday. It will be the decisive stage of this race and we will try to get a nice result there, - said Bruno Cenghialta.
The American Jack Haig is the new leader's jersey, while Ion Izagirre of Astana Pro Team is 6th with the same time as the leader.
Stage 4 of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana will be held tomorrow: it will be the last possibility for race favorites to do something in the general classification. The peloton will face a 170-km-long distance from Calp to the top of the first category climb Sierra de Bernia in Altea (5.1 km, 12%).
