Vuelta a Burgos. Stage 4. Miguel Angel Lopez is 7th in Clunia, still leads GC
The leader of Astana Pro Team Miguel Angel Lopez finished 7th at stage 4 to Ciudad Romana de Clunia (165 km) and, thus, kept his lead in the general classification of the Vuelta a Burgos.

The fourth stage ended with a powerful uphill sprint, won by the Spaniard Carlos Barbero. Miguel Angel Lopez was up there in front at the last kilometer and was able to finish seventh. This result was enough to keep the overall lead.
- In the final I found a good position in front of the pack and in a moment on a steepest part I thought, maybe I could attack… But, I preferred to stay in the group and to save some energy since the last part of the final climb was quite flat and everything ended with a sprint. Today everything went well, but now I am looking forward to tomorrow’s last day in the mountains, - said Miguel Angel Lopez.
In general classification Astana’s rider still has 2 seconds over his yesterday rival Ivan Ramiro Sosa. Pello Bilbao is 7th, 47 seconds behind his captain.
The final stage 5 to the famous climb Lagunas de Neila (141 km) will be held tomorrow and will decide the new winner of the Vuelta a Burgos.
