- Yeah, I am not a sprinter, but today I felt good and I had legs to do something in sprint. Inside the last kilometer I was well positioned on the wheel of Tanel Kangert, but later I found myself boxed in and I lost a few positions. I had to restart my sprint with 500 meters to go, but it was not easy to come in front. So, anyway, it was a good try to finish in Top-10. The main thing is my feeling was really good, - explained Omar Fraile.
Supported by the teammates, Astana Pro Team leader Jakob Fuglsang finished inside the main group without any problem.
- It was a calm day, without big stress. In the end a few teams increased the pace, but I stayed safely in the group. In was a good day in the saddle, - said Jakob Fuglsang.
The Suisse rider Stefan Küng still leads the race, Tanel Kangert and Jakob Fuglsang hold a provisional 54th and 55th positions, respectively.
Stage 3 of the Tour de Suisse will be held tomorrow: 182 km from Oberstammheim to Gansingen.
