Before the final, a very long breakaway that included in the first part of the stage even our young and brave talent, the Norwegian a today’s Viking Jersey, Truls Korsæth.
The break lived until the 8 km to go.
Then it was all about the last 5.2 km (4.9% average) of the uphill final.
Our expert Ukrainian rider, Andrei Grivko attacked at 3.5 km to go on the final climb: his action was pretty good but the race Leader himself, close the gap at only 1 km to the finish line.
The it was a sprint between a selected group of riders that gave the victory to the Norwegian August Jensen who has beaten the race Leader, the Belgian Dylan Teuns, who kept the Blue-Orange Jersey.
Andrei Grivko was today 21st at 16 seconds and now in the GC he is 14th at 39 seconds from the Leader.
